Prohibited content and conduct
CONTE prohibits all child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sextortion, trafficking and requests for sexual content from minors. Creating, sharing, promoting or seeking child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including artificially generated material, and facilitating such conduct are prohibited. These rules apply to all accounts, groups, messages, images and voice notes.
Report in the app
Open the content’s ⋯ menu and choose “Report moment”; select a reason and, if helpful, add “child safety” in the details. You can also block the person. If you cannot access the content, email contacts@getconte.app with the subject “Child safety” and enough information to identify it. Do not attach, download or forward illegal material. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Handling reports
Child safety reports are prioritised. Authorised administrators review the reported content and take appropriate action: restricting access, removing prohibited material and restricting responsible accounts, depending on the case and applicable law. Review is human; CONTE does not claim to automatically inspect all images or private conversations.
Authorities and data protection
When we become aware of child sexual abuse material, we take action and report to the competent regional or national authorities where required by law. Necessary data is handled with restricted access and retained only for the purposes and periods required to handle the case or comply with legal obligations. We do not redistribute reported material. For other processing, see our privacy policy.
Contact point
CONTE’s contact point for users and authorities is contacts@getconte.app, subject “Child safety”. Use this channel for questions about these standards or to request review of an enforcement decision. It is not an emergency service.
